Food organization

Cooler lanes, dual coolers, table flow, who brings what, serve order — so the spread moves like hospitality, not a dig site.

Cooler lanes

Raw stays separate from ready-to-eat. Drinks can live in their own tub so every can grab doesn’t warm the food cooler. Label lids if more than one cooler hits the asphalt.

Dual coolers when you can

Cooler how-to →

Table flow

Plates → mains → sides → trash path. Keep the grill side clear so cooks aren’t fighting the buffet line.

Clean station

Park the clean kit at the grill end of the table: sanitizing wipes, nitrile gloves, a hand-wash jug, paper towels, trash and grease bags. Raw prep stays on that end too. Wipe down before setup, between raw and ready, and at teardown.

Who brings what

Name ice, protein, sides, and trash before you roll — same energy as Roles & checklist.

Serve order

Nibble while the grill wakes. Main when it’s ready. Sweet finish when conversation dips — not when the cooler is empty.
