Rituals
Come for the game. Stay for the party. These are the rhythms we return to — borrow them, rename them for your crew, make game day feel like home.
Tailgating 101
Planning → Roles → Packing → Setup. Borrow the sequence, or jump where your crew needs help this weekend.
- 1
Tailgating 101: Planning the Lot
Walk the plan once the night before — spot, style, rules, rituals, weather, and leave the asphalt kinder than you found it.
- 2
Tailgating 101: Roles & Checklist
Name who owns ice, grill, and table — then walk the Team Captain’s Pregame Checklist once before you roll.
- 3
Tailgating 101: Packing the Car and Coolers
Pregame pack — bins that stay ready, car load order, and cooler ice math that still has frost when you hit the lot.
- 4
Tailgating 101: Setup on the Lot
Arrive, claim your footprint, get shade and fire up — then invite the crew in. Ops order, not food safety.
Standing rituals
Pregame calm, rookie welcome, regional pride, guest glory, homegate energy — rename them for your crew and make game day feel like home.
Feeding the crew? Prep the spread and Food safety live on the Menu.
- Team Captain's Pregame Walk the plan once — night before or morning of — roles, ice math, timeline, weather, budget — so game day feels like hospitality, not scramble.
- Rookie Calm First time on the lot? What to do — and more importantly what not to do — so you help, blend in, and get invited back.
- Regional Table Cook like the place that raised you — or the one you’re visiting. Name the dish and the weather. Pride as affection, never costume.
- Guest Glory Want to be invited back? Do / don’t for timing, contribution, cleanup, and leaving the asphalt (or patio) kinder than you found it.
- Homegate Lot energy on a driveway, patio, or living-room overflow — full kitchen, real bathrooms, AC or heat, and a TV slate instead of a gate time.
