This policy explains what information I Love To Tailgate (“ILTT,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit ilovetotailgate.com, including Tailgate Finds, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you send us
The site has no accounts, comments, or sign-up forms. If you email us at hello@ilovetotailgate.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it to reply.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Bluehost) keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring page, and the date and time. We use these logs to keep the site running, secure, and to understand overall traffic.
Information saved only in your browser
The Team Captain’s Pregame Checklist remembers your check marks using your browser’s local storage. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files a website or its partners store in your browser. We and our partners may use cookies, pixels, and similar tools for analytics, advertising, and affiliate tracking, as described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may work differently if you do.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, time on page, general location (city or region), device type, and clicks on Tailgate Finds links. Google Analytics uses cookies and reports to us in aggregate. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We also use Google Search Console, which gives us aggregate data about how the site appears in Google Search (for example, search terms and click counts). It does not place cookies on your device through our site.

Affiliate links and retailer cookies
Some links, mainly on Tailgate Finds, are affiliate links. When you click one and go to a retailer, the retailer or its affiliate network may set cookies or use a tracking ID so we can be credited for a purchase. Their own privacy policies govern what they collect. We receive reports about clicks, orders, and commissions. We do not receive your name or payment details from those reports. Tailgate Finds links from social
Posts from @TailgateFinds on X link to deal pages on ilovetotailgate.com, sometimes through short links on our own domain. Those links may carry tags (such as UTM parameters or a deal ID) so we can count which posts and deals people click. We use this information in aggregate.
How we use information

How information is shared

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Some content is about alcohol and is intended only for adults of legal drinking age.
Retention and security
We keep emails as long as needed to respond and for our records. Server logs are kept according to our host’s retention settings. The site is served over HTTPS and we use reasonable safeguards, but no website can promise perfect security.
Links to other sites
We link to retailers, venues, teams, and other sites we don’t control. Their privacy practices are their own, so check their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
