Saturday in Berkeley is a hills walk into Memorial Stadium, with Oski’s Village on the Glade. This is not a light-anything-you-brought lot.

Must see / do

California Memorial Stadium is the walk-up, and the Greek Theatre shuttle closes the gap through the hills.
Oski’s Village on Memorial Glade is the free pregame, open 3 hours before kick. No outside alcohol or grills in the Village.
Downtown Berkeley BART and the free gameday shuttles start about 2 hours 30 minutes before kick. Accessible golf-cart rides are on the parking and transportation page.

Read the football gameday policies on open flame and the BBQ exclusion zone before you pack charcoal or propane.
The Clark Kerr Campus BBQ map is part of the fire-permit set. A 2019 parking-options PDF is stale, so don’t use it.
Confirm that week’s shuttle and BART clocks on the parking and transportation page.

Cooking in the lots sits under the hills very high fire severity zone and the BBQ exclusion zone permits. This is not a free-grill day.
Maps live on the parking and transportation page. Don’t build the day off an old parking PDF.
There isn’t a free-grill code to follow. The permit language is the rule.

Open flame and the BBQ exclusion zone follow the wildfire permit rules, and that is what governs cooking in the lots.
Oski’s Village is free on Memorial Glade and opens 3 hours before kick.
No outside alcohol or grills are allowed in the Village.
Free gameday shuttles start about 2 hours 30 minutes before kick, along with Downtown Berkeley BART.
Accessible golf-cart rides are on the parking and transportation page.
Use that page for maps, and treat a 2019 parking-options PDF as stale.
Follow the exclusion zone and the permit language instead of assuming you can grill.

The written rules and what an officer calls that Saturday aren’t always the same. Confirm yours the week of the game.
