Mets

Citi Field · Queens, NY

Queens' Citi Field has real surrounding lots — more room than Fenway, still not a free-for-all. No open flames and no lot alcohol.

Must see / do

Around the park

  • Citi Field sits in Flushing with the 7 train and LIRR as the sanity play when lots fill.
  • Lots open one hour prior to stadium gates opening — plan that clock.

Before first pitch

  • Use Mets stadium parking pages for lot maps and oversized/bus parking.
  • Bag guidance lives on Mets security and ballpark pages.

On the lot

  • Small personal gatherings only in permitted lots — not in Lot G/Official Lot or Orange Reserved. Organized/catered/pre-sold tailgates are not permitted.
  • Everything (tent poles, coolers, tables, grills) must fit within one parking space boundary, in front of or behind the vehicle — never occupying an empty stall as a setup zone.
  • No open flames of any type. Alcohol consumption is prohibited in the lots and on surrounding sidewalks. Bag your trash — no lot trash bins.

Overview

  • No tailgating in Lot G/Official Lot or Orange Reserved.
  • One-space rule: setup in front/behind your car only.
  • No open flames.
  • No alcohol in lots or surrounding sidewalks.
  • No space-saving; arrive together for consecutive spaces.
  • Lots open 1 hour before stadium gates.
  • Confirm week-of on mlb.com/mets.

The written rules and what an officer calls that day aren't always the same. Confirm yours the week of the game on the official ballpark pages.

Map
