BYU

Saturday in Provo is Cougar Canyon plus a strict stadium policy, no bags, and alcohol and tobacco are banned campus-wide, including the lots. There isn’t a thick lot-by-lot matrix the way some Big 12 schools publish one.

Must see / do

Around campus

• LaVell Edwards is the Provo bowl, and the stadium policies cover the no-bag rule and the gates.
• Cougar Canyon is the festival street on Canyon Road, west of the stadium. It opens 3.5 hours before kick and closes 30 minutes before kick. The Backyard at Cougar Canyon is the REVELxp full-service setup at Helaman Fields, south of University Parkway.

Before the game

• The Cougar Walk comes through the Canyon about 2.5 hours before kick.
• Fan Events is the page to trust for public activations, so don’t invent lot clocks. A 2025 gameday information post is still up, and you should refresh to that week’s news for the parking portals.

On the lot

• Alcohol and tobacco are banned campus-wide, including the lots, which is stricter than a typical Big 12 tailgate.
• The stadium rules are solid and the lot-by-lot matrix is thin. Use the stadium policies, Fan Events, and that week’s gameday news, and don’t guess a lot matrix. Ticket and parking portals, plus reserved-lot guidance, are called in the overview.

The written rules and what an officer calls that Saturday aren’t always the same. Confirm yours the week of the game.
