Mississippi State baseball tailgate at Dudy Noble Field · Mississippi State, MS

A baseball Saturday in Starkville is the Left Field Lounge, the walk along Lakeview once they close it to cars, and Dudy Noble Field. Know which lots are free before you commit.

Must see / do

Around campus

  • The Left Field Lounge is the outfield hospitality row. Boxes 1 through 50 don’t allow personal tents, and boxes 51 through 96 can take one with an 8-foot peak if it doesn’t block the view. Box owners clear out 30 minutes before the lounge opens, and servicing windows are before the gates.
  • The outfield, the Right Field Terrace, and the lawn berms are where you walk and watch. Little Dude’s kids play sits behind the Right Field Terrace. Charcoal ash goes in the outfield bins, not on the dirt.
  • Lakeview Drive between the Right Field and Left Field gates closes 2 hours before first pitch on a weekend series, so the walk is free of cars. That is the way in, not a side door.

Before the game

  • The athletics page puts stadium gates at 2 hours before first pitch, unless a game says otherwise. The 2026 transportation page also lists the box office and stadium at 90 minutes. Check both that week before you lock a clock.
  • Lakeview closes 2 hours out, and Lot 2 and accessible ingress follow that closure. College View’s northbound restriction starts 1 hour out. Rideshare stays on College View Street by the Soccer Club House through the game and after.
  • Everyone needs a ticket, infants included. No pass-outs, and no re-entry without a new ticket. Mobile tickets are the standard.

On the lot

  • Free public lots include Barnes & Noble, Butler, Garner, Memorial, Newell Grissom, and Zacharias Village, plus Bost Extension on the 2025 gameday page. Paid public spaces open in reserved lots when there is inventory, and an SEC weekend costs more than midweek or a non-conference date.
  • Public accessible parking is in the upper bays of Lot 2, priced by the series type. Disability carts run from 2 hours before first pitch, and they drop at the Right Field gate or the Home Plate gate.
  • No tents, tables, or chairs in a parking space or on a sidewalk. No saving spaces, and no parking on islands or shoulders. Motorhomes are reserved-pass only, opening at 12:00 p.m. Friday for a weekend series, or 12:00 p.m. Thursday when that applies, and not for a midweek game.
