Rutgers
SHI Stadium · Piscataway, NJ
Saturday in Piscataway is a ring of color-coded lots, a courtesy shuttle if you’re in an outer lot, and SHI Stadium. Keep the tailgate inside the vehicle’s footprint, because the drive in crosses more than one campus and it’s a maze on purpose.
Must see / do
Around campus
- The color lots around SHI, Scarlet, Green, White, Yellow, Blue, and the rest, got a 2026 ingress and egress redesign. Read the traffic patterns page.
- Busch and Livingston are different campuses, and first-timers mix them up. College Avenue and New Brunswick are an optional meal or transit stop, not a lot next to the stadium.
Before the game
- The courtesy shuttle runs the Purple and Black lots to Athletes Glen from about 3 hours before kick.
- RVs and buses at Jersey Mike’s Arena are $100, first come, with a free shuttle to SHI. The Game Day Central accordion may need a look in the browser before you treat the full tailgate-policies block as locked.
On the lot
- Lots open 5 hours before kick. The tailgate stays with the vehicle, and kegs and large tents are banned on the page body. Confirm the accordion the week of the game, because a straight read of that page was thin.
- Traffic and parking directions are lot by lot and interactive, not a PDF. The rest of the policy is in the overview.
