UCLA
Rose Bowl · Pasadena, CA
UCLA football Saturdays are a Pasadena story, not a Westwood parking-lot story. You set up in the Rose Bowl’s Arroyo lots, the fan zone is in Lot H, and the game is in the bowl.
Must see / do
Around campus
- The Rose Bowl sits in the Arroyo in Pasadena, not on the UCLA campus in Westwood. Grass lots are west and north of the bowl, and West Drive is the RV side.
- Grass-lot tailgates are do-it-yourself. Tents are 10 by 10, people caravan so they can park together, and lots open 6 hours before kick. Old Town Pasadena and Colorado Boulevard are the optional meal away from the bowl.
Before the game
- The UCLA Football Fan Zone in Lot H, by Gates A and B at Rosemont and Arroyo, opens about 4:15 before kick.
- Inside it, the Bruin Beer Garden is 21-plus and the Food Zone is the vendor row. The Rose Bowl season parking map is how you read lot letters like I, K, F, G, the 5B group, and the 1A group.
On the lot
- Lots open 6 hours before kick and close 90 minutes after the game. Lot H opens about 4:15 before kick. Tents are 10 by 10 on the grass, you can’t save a space, and charcoal rules live on the athletics page.
- The Rose Bowl season parking map is a link on the tailgating page. Grills, tents, and hours are in the overview.
