USC
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum · Los Angeles, CA
A USC Saturday in Los Angeles is a lawn picnic and a walk into the Coliseum, not a classic parking-lot tailgate. Campus picnic spots need a permit, and the approach is Exposition Park.
Must see / do
Around campus
- Campus picnic lawns need a permit. This is a lawn tailgate, not a parking-lot setup, and you hand-carry gear from the structures. Setup starts 6 hours before kick, and you tear down by kick.
- Tommy Trojan and Hahn Plaza are the campus photo and alumni stops. Exposition Park puts the museums next to the Coliseum, and the entry notes call Figueroa.
Before the game
- The Trojan Family Game Day Experience at Alumni Park is the free family stop, and it doesn’t need a private reservation.
- Campus structures at Downey, McCarthy, Jefferson, Figueroa, and Grand are $50, cashless, through Text2Park. The Expo Line and the rest of LA Metro are strongly preferred to driving for a lot of fans.
On the lot
- Don’t fake a parking-lot tailgate. The official model is a picnic-style lawn tailgate on campus, with a permit, plus a separate Coliseum and Exposition Park parking map.
- The 2026 Coliseum parking map PDF is live. Campus parking has its own page for the structures. The permit and the setup clock are in the overview.
