Maryland football tailgate at SECU Stadium · College Park, MD

Saturday in College Park is color-coded lots, the loop on Stadium Drive, and SECU Stadium. Know whether your pass is a party lot or a tailgate lot before you plant a 10-by-10.

Must see / do

Around campus

  • Legacy Plaza is the family stop near the bowl, with inflatables and a kids area on the athletics gameday copy.
  • Ludwig Field and Kehoe Track are the REVELxp tent village a few steps from the stadium, reserved rather than first come. Route 1 and downtown College Park are optional food-strip color before or after kick, and they aren’t on an athletics clock.

Before the game

  • Team buses hit the Stadium Drive traffic circle and the West Gate about 2 hours before kick, with the Spirit Squad and the Mighty Sound. Get there early for a sightline.
  • Color-zone lots and the Shuttle-UM Quickbus run from the lots and College Park Metro. DOTS football parking is the sales and zone map. XFINITY and Ludwig are the bathroom and fan-assistance landmarks if it’s your first time.

On the lot

  • Lots open 6 hours before kick. Tents are 10 by 10 with no stakes, garages allow no open flame, and athletics draws a line between a party and a tailgate.
  • The season parking map PDF is dated 9/1/26. Grill, tent, and hours notes are in the overview.
