South Carolina
Founders Park · Columbia, SC
Founders Park sits on the edge of downtown Columbia, and it is not a football-style tent city. Public lots are $10 and cashless, a Key Road shuttle runs on some dates, and the gates open 1 hour out.
Must see / do
Around campus
- The Hay Fant Sparks Jr. Playground sits by the right-field foul line, shaded and lit. Kids need an adult with them.
- Guest Services is at home plate, and first aid is by sections 5 and 6.
- Public lots include Williams and Wheat (Lot 1), 410 Huger, and 401 Catawba — cashless, and no RVs or buses in South Carolina–controlled lots.
Before the game
- Gates 1, 2, and 4 open 1 hour before game time. Gate 3 stays closed, and once you are scanned there is no re-entry.
- On select games a shuttle runs from the gravel lot at 140 Key Road, starting 2 hours before first pitch. Parking there is $5 and the shuttle is free. Postgame pickup is on Williams Street for about 1 hour, and you should check that date’s shuttle note.
- The box office next to Gate 1 opens with the gates. The stadium is cashless, with reverse ATMs on the first-base and third-base sides.
On the lot
- Public lots are the corner of Williams and Wheat, which is Lot 1, plus 410 Huger Street and 401 Catawba Street, at $10 a vehicle, cashless, by card or Apple Pay. Season passes can be digital or printed.
- Season accessible parking is listed in Lot 8, and some of that wording still reads like 2024, so verify it. Gameday accessible spots are first come in Lot 1, with a free golf-cart shuttle.
- No RVs or buses in South Carolina–controlled lots. Tailgate rules are thin next to a football Saturday, so don’t guess a charcoal or tent grid.
