Sewell–Thomas Stadium · Tuscaloosa, AL
Baseball in Tuscaloosa means The Joe, right across Bryant Drive from the Bryant Museum. Park in the Capstone Deck or the Coleman lot and walk over. If basketball is in Coleman Coliseum the same day, the lots shift. Check first.
Must see / do
Around the ballpark
- The Right Field Terrace is the party. For the 2026 NCAA weekends it was open to all fans, and coolers and dogs went in through Gate 6 behind right field.
- General admission spreads out across the Right Field Terrace, the Rally Point patio on the third-base side, and the grass berm on the first-base concourse.
On the lot
- The Capstone Deck sits next to the stadium on 2nd Avenue. Alabama has run it free for baseball on several dates, first come, first served.
- The 4th Avenue Soccer Lot is the overflow. On the 2026 NCAA weekends a shuttle ran from it starting 90 minutes before first pitch.
- Accessible parking is west of Coliseum Drive in the Paul W. Bryant Drive Lot.
Overview
- Sewell–Thomas Stadium (“The Joe”) lists seating at 5,867+. The address is 241 Bryant Dr., Tuscaloosa.
- Fan parking rotates among the Capstone Deck, the Coleman Coliseum lot, the 2nd Avenue lot behind left field, and the 4th Avenue Soccer Lot.
- When a basketball game is in Coleman Coliseum, its main lot goes to basketball pass holders. Use Bryant Drive or University Boulevard to reach the Capstone Deck.
- Right Field Terrace rule from the 2026 NCAA weekends: once it hit capacity, chairs and coolers couldn’t come in. A prohibited-items drop sat next to Gate 6.
- Alabama posts a parking notice for busy dates. Read it the week of the series.
- Men’s College World Series: 2026 (T-7th).
Rules on paper and the call on a Friday night aren’t always the same. Confirm yours the week of the series.
