Vanderbilt
FirstBank Stadium · Nashville, TN
Nashville’s campus scene is Vandyville, the Star Walk along Natchez Trace, the kids zone and Commodore Court, then FirstBank Stadium. Hillsboro Village and West End are the streets next to campus. Broadway is a different night.
Must see / do
Around campus
- Vandyville runs along Natchez Trace, Jess Neely, and Vanderbilt Place. Tailgating opens 4 hours before kick. Music, the Max Nance Kids’ Zone, and the activities start 3 hours out. Commodore Court is the 2026 live-music stage. REVELxp reserved tents are there if you want one.
- The Star Walk is 2:30 before kick. The team walks Natchez Trace from near the outdoor track, through the middle of Vandyville, to the locker room. Line the path. FirstBank after that is the doorstep. You’re still on campus, not on Broadway.
Before the game
- Hillsboro Village and West End are the streets next to campus. This is not the Broadway tourist core. Use the rideshare and garage points on the gameday page. The egress notes beat grabbing a random curb.
- Gates open 2 hours before kick, all corners.
On the lot
- Pass lots plus Vandyville. Lots open with the kickoff band, 7:00 a.m. on early kicks and 8:00 a.m. otherwise. No overnight, and no setting up ahead of time. Fire pits are banned in Vandyville.
- Pack charcoal ash out. The school doesn’t take it. Tent size, the 25-foot cook buffer, and the generator limit are in the overview.
Overview
- Lots open with the kickoff band, 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. They close 1 hour after the game, or right after a late kick. No overnight and no advance setup. One pass per space. No saving spaces.
- Tailgate in parking spaces only, not in garages. Don’t block a sidewalk, a road, or a bike lane. Stay within 5 feet past the lane line. Break it down at the end of the day.
- Pop-ups max 10×10. Weights only. No stakes. Take the tent down before you go in. No corporate logos. At 20 mph of wind or more, tents are discouraged.
- No cooking inside a structure, under a tent, or within 25 feet of a campus building. Stay with the grill. Propane 20 lb or under. Charcoal needs a cover. The school doesn’t dispose of charcoal. Pack the ashes out.
- Recreational generators are OK. Electric is preferred. 60 dB or under, and not in a parking structure.
- No trailers, golf carts, or scooters. No drones without approval. No fire pits, no kegs, and no live bands or DJs except what Vandyville programs. No smoking or vaping.
- Reserved tents in Vandyville are RevelXP. RVs and trailers are banned from campus lots. Use the off-campus options they list.
