On the Forty Acres the day is Bevo Boulevard, then the Bevo Parade and the Stadium Stampede, plus City Limits, the Midway, and the Hangout. Parade and Stampede times change. Check that week’s Insider before you plan the afternoon around them.

Around campus

• Bevo Boulevard is the pregame heart outside DKR. That’s the Parade, the Stadium Stampede, a DJ, the screens, and the Texas Gameday broadcast.
• Longhorn City Limits is the concerts on the LBJ Lawn. Smokey’s Midway is the family carnival on the north side. Big Bertha’s Bazaar is the Moody plaza and the photo with the Big Bertha drum. Hook ’Em Hangout is the northwest corner. Show up from 3 hours before kick if you want the Pregame Show.
• The Drag and Guadalupe are the campus edge, not downtown Sixth Street. This isn’t a restaurant guide.

Before the game

• Bevo Parade and Stadium Stampede times live on that week’s Forty Acres Insider and the Fan Guide. Other pages often put the Parade about 3 hours out and the Stampede about 2.5 hours out. Verify it weekly. Don’t lock those minutes in.
• Grab the current VDB tailgating map before you commit to a lot color.

On the lot

• Yellow on the map is open tailgating. Purple is a surface-lot permit. Red, the LBJ Lawn, is REVELxp only. Lots often open at 7:00 a.m.
• The 11:00 a.m. kick exception, the no-grilling rule inside REVELxp, and the permit screenshot warning are in the overview. Don’t guess past the map.

Overview

• Open tailgating is the yellow spaces on the official map. Purple surface-lot permit holders can tailgate in those lots. Red is REVELxp only, on the LBJ Lawn.
• Tents and setups from 7:00 a.m. gameday. Lots open at 7:00 a.m., or 6:00 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. kick. No overnight parking in university-managed lots.
• Charcoal and ashes go in the containers they provide. Recycle in the blue bags. Leave campus cleaner than you found it.
• REVELxp reserved packages don’t allow fire cooking or grilling in those spaces.
• The campus is tobacco-free, parking included. Alcohol is 21+ and responsible use. Stadium alcohol sales stop at the end of the third quarter.
• PTS moves a lot of weekday permits on Friday night. Public parking is the listed garages and lots, plus TFC state lots. RVs and oversize vehicles use State Lot 26 and a shuttle.
• Where a mobile parking permit is issued, you need the live one. A screenshot doesn’t count.

The written rules and what an officer calls that Saturday aren’t always the same. Confirm yours the week of the game.
